The latest Youtube makeup tag is all about makeup on a budget, so naturally I decided to jump on the bandwagon with a blog article. The concept is geared towards finding good quality products that are under $10 to combine in one makeup look. The point? To share a selection of affordable makeup items with the community. The challenge? To select the best possible option for each makeup item. So if you are on the hunt for affordable makeup products that are also of good quality, then this is article is for you!Okay, maybe I should have called it the $100 makeup look (well, $100,92 to be exact), BUT, the point of this post is to share with you some great makeup products that are affordable and of good quality. You’ll notice I used a lot of Maybelline products, but that’s just because I find they make really good products and almost never fail to deliver. The only negative thing about the brand is animal testing (I know, shame on me).
So without further ado, here is the list of products I used to create this look. I would personally wear it at night, as it’s a fun party look with a bold lip, and as you can see, I chose to use fall colours for the upcoming season 🙂

The Final Look
Quick Tips and Tricks
-You can use the lightest shade in the Sunset palette as a highlighter; I also used it to brighten the inner corners of my eyes.
-The Master Strobing Stick by Maybelline is a must-have and absolutely worth the price; it works well on bare skin, and doesn’t cake up at all even if applied on top of powder (I did that in this makeup look too, and many other times).
-You can use concealer as a highlighter if you don’t like it too be too glowy; that’s one product with 2 uses!
-Instead of getting another palette or single eyeshadow to use as my transition shade, I simply used the bronzer; this is another great way of saving some bucks and making the best of your bronzer!
That’s it for this article guys! I hope you found it helpful and informative! Let me know in the comments what your favourite drugstore makeup products are, I would love to try your suggestions!
